The Role

Our expanding Brisbane-based marketing company requires a mature, enthusiastic and resilient individual with initiative to join our team as a part-time home-based call consultant.

The preferred applicant will have some level of IT knowledge, with the ability to work from home, managing their time efficiently and reporting back to the team on a regular basis. Some of our team are students undertaking a technology degree, some are senior specialists balancing freelance work with other interests and some are full-time consultants with RAW.  Our team has direct access to the vendor brands shaping this exciting industry and participate in regular briefing sessions with technology experts and other educational opportunities.

In this role you will conduct B2B outbound calls on behalf of our high profile IT clients. You will be reaching out to IT professionals working in both local and global companies to discuss any upcoming business requirements and qualify new leads. It’s important to be able to hold a business conversation and build rapport.  You will be required to gather and record relevant information in CRM software, ensuring all communication is logged accurately. Qualifying leads will then be forwarded on to the RAW Marketing team.

Our agency works on multiple campaigns simultaneously; therefore the successful applicant will have the ability to alternate between required tasks.

The ideal applicant should have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion about sales and lead generation
  • An enthusiastic attitude and strong organisation skills
  • The skill to successfully win over gatekeepers to pinpoint the company’s/prospect’s IT decision maker
  • The ability to solve problems and overcome objections
  • Previous outbound calling experience
  •  Reliable
  • IT knowledge would be beneficial though not essential
